The philosophy and mission of the Middle School is to make the transition from childhood to adolescence a positive period of development that will enable students to achieve to the best of their abilities. It will stress the development of the whole child by instilling in students a sense of positive self-worth, self-respect, and self-confidence and a belief that each can succeed. A Depew Middle School, in cooperation with families, will provide students with the necessary academic and personal/social knowledge, skills, and attitudes to succeed in the middle-level grades, high school and beyond.
