Good Afternoon Depew,

As I am sure you are aware, Governor Cuomo has recently announced a pivot in the parameters to be used for schools, who are in either the Orange or Red Cluster Zones, to return to in-person instruction. At this point in time, we do not have any further details, as to how we can accomplish these new standards.  As soon as we have the new expectations from the Department of Health and they can be evaluated in relation to our capacity to accomplish them, we will update the school-community.  Until then, we will need to remain in our fully remote learning environment for all students.  We will continue to assess our Zone Designation weekly, and keep the school-community informed regarding our return to in-person learning.

With that in mind, we do know that a key expectation to return to in person instruction will be random COVID-19 Testing.  It is very important that if you haven’t already done so, that you fill our the Testing Consent Form.  We currently have over 400 individual consents completed for the random testing process.

Please take time to consider the testing information provided and participating in the random COVID-19 testing.

I will continue to keep you informed as we receive more information.

Be Safe!
