Good Afternoon Depew, this is an important update from Dr. Rabey:

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for a wonderful start to our school year.  Our first month in session together has only had a few minor hiccups and we are continuing to do everything that we can to maintain our 5-days a week of face-to-face instruction for as long as possible.  All of this has truly been a team effort between our students, parents, support staff, teachers, administrators and the entire Depew School-Community.

With that in mind, I wanted to update everyone on two new developments.  First, we have added several resources from the ECDOH to our COVID Page on our District website at  One key resource document is the Community-based Testing Resources for Students and Parents in Erie County.  Secondly, the District added our very own live COVID Data Dashboard to our COVID Page on our Website that is updated on a daily basis.  The data presented shows the total number of positive COVID cases and those quarantined by student, teacher and staff and by building, since the first day of school.

Finally, please remember that daily health screenings are required, as most of our exposures are from those that have arrived to school already ill.  By arriving onto school property, you and/or your children are attesting that the screening survey was completed, which includes a temperature and COVID-19 symptom check.  COVID-19 symptoms are listed within the District’s Opening Plan.

Please check the District’s website on a regular basis for updates.  We thank you again for your continued support, cooperation and patience.

Have A Great Weekend and Go Bills!!!
