Our Mission: as certified school counselors we provide the opportunity for all students to develop educational, social, career and personal strengths, through counseling, consultation, coordination and collaboration within a developmental guidance and counseling program by providing:
Educational Planning: Annual Reviews, Course Selections, Graduation Requirements, Curriculum Choices, Alternative Programs, BOCES Placement, Student Orientation
College Planning: College Selection, College Applications, College Recommendations, Parent Workshops, Financial Aid Workshops
Personal Counseling: Individual/Group, Crisis Intervention, Vocational, Educational
Career Planning: Career Speakers, Internships, Job Shadowing, Career Fair
Testing: Academic, Vocational
Committee Participation: Child Study Team, AIS Committee, Character Education
Working Papers - Current Depew High School students can stop by the counseling center during the school day to pick up an application, as well as verify if there is an updated physical on file. When school is not in session, please email gcumbo@depewschools.org or call 716-686-5069 to make an appointment to get working papers. Please review the instructions below for current students and out of district students.
Working Paper Application Instructions
Transcript Requests - Current Depew High School students can stop by the counseling center during the school day and complete a transcript request form to request unofficial or official transcripts. For all other transcript requests please complete the Transcript Request Form below. Please note that transcript requests take up to 5 school days to process. Also note that transcripts will not be released without proper identification and authorization, which includes in-person requests with approved picture identification or appropriate record release documentation with a notarized signature from the person requesting the transcript.
