In October, Cayuga Heights Elementary proudly introduced its first Creative Writing Club, led by Mrs. Thurnherr. The club sparked great enthusiasm; with over 80 students in grades 3 through 5 signing up to take part.
The Creative Writing Club provides students with an exciting opportunity to enhance their writing skills, express creativity, and share their unique voices. It is a welcoming space for young writers who love to imagine, create, and connect with others. Together, students build friendships, explore new adventures, and dream up amazing stories and characters. Whether they are poets, storytellers, artists, or dreamers—there is a place for every Wildcat in the club, where every student has a story to tell!
Congratulations to the following students, winners of the Creative Writing Club’s 100-Word Spooky Story Contest for October:
Grade 3- Luca Papero, Sophia Siekierski, Paisley Kotarski, Giavanna Griffo,
Grade 4- Aubrey Johnson, Finn Bartlett, Fern Bartlett
Grade 5- Parker Alagero, Aubrey Wiseman, Faye Henrickson
Keep dreaming, creating, writing and sharing your wonderful stories with the world.
