On Saturday, June 4th, the Wildcats on the Move Running Club participated in the Independent Health Kids Fun Run at Delaware Park! We had 198 participants registered from Cayuga Heights and 11 students finish within the top 20 for their age group. Congratulations to Myles Munson and Julian Gavin for finishing in 1st and 2nd in their age group.
After two long years without a running club at Cayuga Heights, we had an overwhelming response from students in grades 3-5. We had over 150 students join Wildcats on the Move Running Club this year. We are so happy to see the dedication and determination from all of the Wildcats! Students in running club participated in team building, running stamina and goal setting since the middle of March. The group increased their mileage and have a combined total of over 2,000 miles! WAY TO GO WILDCATS!
