welcome principal renzoni

Students will be seeing a new face in the halls of Depew High School this school year.

Paul Renzoni has joined Depew Union Free School District as the school’s new Principal.

Mr. Renzoni joins the district with 25 years of experience behind him. He began his career as a math teacher in the Buffalo Public Schools, before eventually moving on to the West Seneca School District where he worked his way up to assistant principal of West Seneca East Senior High School.

Mr. Renzoni says he grew up with a love of math and became an educator to pass that love on to his students. But as he continued into his career, he realized he enjoyed working with students and preparing them for life after high school. He enjoys spending time in classrooms and at extracurricular activities interacting with students and seeing them reach their goals.

While Mr. Renzoni grew up in South Buffalo, he comes from a family of Wildcats. His parents graduated from the district: his dad in 1967 and his mom in 1968. His grandparents still lived in Depew when he was growing up, so he has fond memories of visiting Maxie’s Barbershop for a haircut and getting ice cream at the Dairy Queen on Broadway with his grandmother.

Mr. Renzoni and his wife reside in Hamburg, where his three sons graduated from Frontier High School. In his free time, he and his wife enjoy golfing with their two younger sons, or watching their eldest son, a professional saxophone player, perform.

He is looking forward to his time here in Depew, learning what makes the school unique and immersing himself in the culture at Depew High School.
