Congratulations to the Depew Middle School 7/8th Grade Band and Chorus. They competed in the 2023 Darien Lake Music Festival on June 9.
Performing for an adjudicator, the ensembles were graded on their musicality, tone, style, expression, technique, and interpretation. Both ensembles earned the highest category rating of Outstanding with Distinction.
The ensembles also competed against other schools across Western New York. The Depew 7/8th Grade Band received 1st Place in their category and the 7/8th Grade Chorus received a 3rd Place award in theirs.
