A small, close-knit community in the suburbs of Buffalo, NY, Depew Union Free School District has been a long-standing institution.

Depew is centrally-located in the Western New York area, conveniently within 20 minutes from downtown Buffalo, the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, Walden Galleria and several local shops and businesses.

The district is comprised of one elementary school (K-5), one middle school (6-8) and a comprehensive high school (9-12), with the middle and high school attached by a breezeway, and the elementary school within walking distance.

Our Capital 2021 project brought several new upgrades including a brand new, state-of-the-art auditorium at the elementary school, new track and tennis courts, and system upgrades throughout the schools.

Depew UFSD put a strong focus on academics as well as extracurricular, to give the students a strong, well-rounded learning experience. The district consistently sends over 90% of its graduates to post-secondary institutions. The middle school has been recognized by the State Education Department as a leader in middle level education. Cayuga Heights Elementary students ranked in the top five school districts in Erie and Niagara Counties on the ELA4 assessment. The high school is implementing innovative programs in Business and Technology such as "Project Lead the Way".
