Dear Depew UFSD families,
Please be advised that Dr. Hank Stopinski has resigned from his role as our Superintendent of Schools for purposes of retirement. His last day will be December 31, 2023. We thank him for his efforts and contributions to the District and wish him well in his retirement.
Starting January 1, 2024, retired superintendent, Dr. Douglas Whelan, will fill in as Interim Superintendent. Dr. Whelan served in the Starpoint School District for many years and assisted other districts recently in various interim roles.
We look forward to working with Dr. Whelan as he leads our District for the remainder of the school year.
