Join Community Health Speaks and the Department of Psychiatry for an evening of film and conversation.

Can’t Look Away is a documentary that investigates the dark side of social media and the devastating impact it has on young users. Directed by Matthew O’Neill and Perri Peltz and based on investigative reporting by Bloomberg’s Olivia Carville, the film follows families who are fighting for justice and reform in the face of profound personal tragedy.

Following the screening, a discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Ben Rein, a neuroscientist and science communicator, and Dr. Sourav Sengupta, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, who will explore the science, ethics, and emotional realities surrounding screen time, youth mental health, and digital safety.
