Great job to our outstanding seventh and eighth-grade band students who participated in the ECMEA Junior High All County Solo Festival last weekend!
Taking part in this festival was truly above and beyond expectations. Each student dedicated weeks of extra practice and preparation outside of regular band rehearsals to get ready for this rigorous event. During the festival, students performed a solo, demonstrated their scales, and completed a sight‑reading exercise for a judge; an impressive set of challenges for young musicians.
Their dedication, determination, perseverance, and courage were on full display as they rose to meet this experience with confidence and enthusiasm. We are incredibly proud of their commitment to musical excellence!
A special round of applause goes to Eva, Jill, Jameson, and Tommy, who earned the honor of being selected to perform in the ECMEA Junior High All County Band this March! Congratulations on this remarkable accomplishment!
