Eighth grade students recently welcomed Wendy Weisbrot from the Holocaust Education Resource Organization of the Buffalo Jewish Federation for a meaningful presentation on Wednesday, February 11.
As part of their English Language Arts unit, Holocaust: Memory and Meaning, students have been exploring a range of texts focused on history, reflection and remembrance.
Mrs. Weisbrot shared her family’s personal experiences during the Holocaust, offering students a powerful, first-hand perspective that deepened their understanding of this important time period.
