Dear Seniors and Parents/Guardians,
Senior year is here, and for students planning to attend college, there are many important steps coming up! The DHS Counseling, College & Career Center invites college-bound seniors and their parents/guardians to our College & Financial Aid Info Night on Tuesday, September 22 from 6:00–7:30 PM in the High School Cafeteria.
During the first half of the evening, we will discuss the college application process, including applications, transcripts, letters of recommendation, EOP/HEOP, scholarships, and more.
The second half of the evening will focus on paying for college, including the FAFSA, StudentAid.gov accounts, New York State grants and scholarships, student and parent loans, and other important financial aid information.
Whether this is your family's first time navigating the college process or you have been through it before, we hope you will join us. There will also be time for questions.
