Dear Parent or Guardian:

Just a reminder as prescribed by the commissioner of education the Depew School District is conducting an annual exercise of its emergency early dismissal plan. The exercise will be conducted on Friday, October 3, 2025 at that time our students will be released 15 minutes earlier than their regularly scheduled dismissal time. This exercise is to test certain aspects of the School District Emergency management plan. All other activities will go on as scheduled. Please make any necessary arrangements for your child’s early dismissal on Friday, October 3rd.

This is also a time to make sure your entire family is prepared to make alternative arrangements should weather or other such emergencies dictate an early dismissal.

Thank you.

We are so excited to welcome back our students tomorrow! As we begin the 25-26 school year, please remember that all personal, electronic-enabled devices must be away for the school day in accordance with the law and policy. Please visit our District website for additional information regarding the expectations.

Please make note of the following points regarding the ThinkTech Connect app for the Middle School and High School. This app will allow you to message your child during the school day on their Chromebook

1. Your registration link for THiNKtech, will only be sent to the email that you have on file with the district. Be sure you are checking the proper inbox. If you do not receive an email, please confirm with the school district that you have an email on file.

2. The registration link is individually linked to the email address that is on file. Each user has a unique link. You cannot forward the link to another individual with the expectation that they will be able to register. For example, Mom can not forward the link to Dad's email. The email that is sent to the parent or guardian will only work for the parent or guardian who receives the email.

Thank you for helping to make this year a success.
