An important message from the Depew Union Free School District.
Due to the next phase of our Capital Project, the tennis courts and the basketball court located outside Depew School District (near the track) will be closed from approximately April 1, 2024 to August 16, 2024.
We are very excited to begin our Phase 2A work of the Capital Project which includes the resurfacing of these areas.

Registration for Running Club for Cayuga Heights is now open!
The links will be open through Friday, March 2nd. There is a maximum of 70 students for both Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday for a total of 140 students.
Running Club starts Monday, March 18th and will be from 3:05 p.m.-4:25 p.m. twice a week at either Cayuga Heights or on the track.
Running Club is only open to students in grades 3 - 5.
No transportation will be provided by Depew Schools.

Wellcats Summer Day Camp is now open to all current Cayuga students entering grades 1-5 in September of 2024. The program will run from July 8th to August 2nd.
Please note that once we reach our capacity of 120 students, the link will close. If you are signing up two children, they both must be separately entered.

The Depew Middle Schoolers have been focusing on acceptance, as they honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Through worksheets and projects, they've been learning about the civil rights leader's impact and legacy in our nation.

Providing a safe, secure and engaging learning environment that allows students to reach their full potential is the top priority for any school district. All district staff members are integral to this process.
Over the past few days, we experienced severe weather conditions that caused the district to close. We know that the teacher-student interaction in classrooms is essential to the learning process, but effective classroom instruction cannot happen without the support of the Depew staff members that assist and allow for this instruction to occur.
I want to express my gratitude to the members of the maintenance, Buildings & Grounds, Transportation and Cleaning Staff and their Supervisors that worked many hours over the past few days to clear the snow and get the buildings ready for school on Monday.
They are essential to the student learning process and we are all grateful for their efforts.
